Cannabis as a medicine
Interest in medical cannabis has grown strongly due to the potentially broad range of uses. For this reason, the Swiss parliament has lifted the ban on cannabis for medicinal purposes in the Narcotics Act as of August 2022.
In the absence of guidance on products, patients often seek out information on their own to investigate which products and dosing may help with their particular symptoms. This process is not optimal, and usually involves patients experimenting before finding a regimen that works for them.
